1. An individual is referred to the Bureau of Rehabilitation.  Referrals can be sent by the individual, another agency, or even an employer.  If an employer has referred an employee currently working for them, it is because the individual is unable to perform their job duties due to some sort of injury or limitation.
2. The individual then is referred to a vendor such as RTC Employment Services.  RTC then assigns a job developer (person who seeks employment) to work with this individual.
3. Once employment is found, RTC can offer support for the individual and the company.  The type and amount of support will be determined by the individual’s needs and the company’s wishes.  If they chose support in training, a job coach will be assigned to work with the individual until the individual and the supervisor are comfortable with the individual working on his own.
4. Our support will continue by having either the job coach or the job developer perform follow along with the individual and the company to ensure long term success.  This can be done either by phone calls or on-site visits to check the status with the individual and the supervisor.
5. When all parties feel that the individual no longer needs support to perform the job, we close the case.  However, we can re-open the case for additional services should any major problems arise on the job.

RTC staff works very hard to build successful relationships.  We take great pride in having a great rapport with employers we work with, along with doing everything possible to ensure the success of each individual we work with.
