RTC offers Senior Life, an individualized program for seniors 55 and over, for retired associates. Seniors will enjoy the comradery of fellow retired individuals through planned recreational and community service opportunities.  Eligibility requirements for Senior Life comes through Logan County MR/DD. 

Seniors meet 5 days per week for 6 1/2 hours a day, 8:30AM to 3:00PM.  Regular activities include crafts, music, nursing, home visitation, children's day care visitation and other community service oriented activities.  Weekly outings typically include shopping, visits to the Humane Society to pet and sometimes walk the dogs.  Every Friday offers Bingo and a chance to go to the bowling alley.  In the spring we buy flowers and perennial bulbs to prepare a small garden and flower boxes. 

Much of Senior Life is developed for each individual's needs and interests.  While many group events are scheduled, much care is taken to provide personal leisure opportunities which may include anything from fishing to quilting to 9 holes of golf.  Individuals also work with RTC's Habilitation Services to pursue goals and progress in identified areas of personal development.
